May we serve alcohol at the reception?
Alcohol may be purchased by celebrants (Bride & Groom) and provided to their guests at no cost. Celebrants (Bride & Groom) take responsibility for the actions of their guests related to alcohol and will hold harmless Orchard Wedding LLC and its staff. Celebrants will purchase a $500,000 liability insurance rider on their home or celebrant's insurance policy to cover their liability relating to alcohol which shall list coverage for the day of the event at the Orchard Wedding LLC and name Orchard Wedding LLC as a loss payee on the insurance rider. One month prior to the event, email or mail proof of the insurance policy to Bridget Tennes at 4632 Otto Rd, Charlotte, MI, 48813 or [email protected].
Kitchen?
Orchard Barn: refrigerators, freezer, electric ovens, microwave, and plenty of counter space.
You may choose your own caterer or choose to bring in the food yourself. You may drop off food in the refrigerators the night before your celebration.
Rehearsal Dinner?
You’re welcome to bring in your own food for a rehearsal dinner in the Orchard Barn at no additional cost. We simply ask that you rearrange the tables as needed and fully clean the space afterward so it’s ready for your wedding day.
Tables?
*Tables for the Orchard Barn are round tables 5 feet in diameter and seat up to 8 people.
The head tables and food tables are rectangle tables that are 72” long (6 feet) and 30” wide. Rectangle tables are generally used for the head table and seat 3 people per side.
Flower Girls?
You may use rice, bird seed, bubbles, and REAL flower petals. Anything that is biodegradable can be used by a flower girl. Please DO NOT use artificial flower petals.
Electricity at the Ceremony Site?
Yes, but you need to provide your own extension cords.
What are the measurements of the wall behind the head table at the Orchard Barn Reception Venue?
8 feet tall when the platform is in place for the head tables to be up on or without the platform, the wall is 10 feet. The width is 44 feet.
What are the measurements of the Arbor at the Pond Wedding Ceremony?
60” wide on the inside (2 people side by side)
72” wide on the very outside
30” deep (again good for 2 people)
84” to the very top
77” on the inside height (i.e. a 6’4” person can stand underneath)* We do have extenders that make it 10” taller if that is a concern.
